Reporting Change for 1098-T Forms

Access your 1098-T Form

Due to a change to institutional reporting requirements under federal law, beginning with the tax year 2018, NCTC will report in Box 1 the amount of payments made on your student account toward qualifying tuition and fees (QTRE) during the year. In previous years, NCTC reported the qualified tuition and related expenses (QTRE) we billed to your student account for the calendar (tax) year, which was included in Box 2.

Note: A Form 1098-T will be system generated only for those individuals who paid qualified tuition and related expenses in excess of scholarships/grants during the calendar year.
