Summer & Fall Registration

If you have a hold on your account preventing you from registering for classes through MyNCTC, please follow up with the office and instructions specified in your Hold Statement. Returning students who have not taken classes at NCTC during the Fall 2016 or Spring 2017 semesters will need to re-apply for Admissions.

Any other issues related to online registration, please e-mail counseling@nctc.edu with the following information:

  • Your name and NCTC Student ID number (7 or 9 digit number/password) in the subject line
  • Your date of birth (if an ID number has not been assigned)
  • Picture of a photo ID attached to your e-mail
  • Description of registration problem you are having, or other questions
  • Exact course numbers, section numbers, and semester for which you are trying to enroll

 

Online Financial Aid system

For the 2016-2017 awards year, we converted to an online financial aid system.  You will be able to:

  • Check the status of your FAFSA Application
  • View a list of documents we've received from you and a list of the documents still outstanding 
  • View your financial aid awards 
  • View your student loan history from NSLDS
  • Check the status of your student loans for the current year.

College 101 - Online Orientation

The College 101 videos and quiz are accessible at http://www.nctc.edu/StudentServices/CounselingTesting/College101/college-101-orientation.

Start by watching the 7 videos on various topics related to NCTC.  Then complete the 20 question quiz.  You will need to enter your name, email address, and birth date.   Once you complete the quiz, you will receive an email with your quiz score.   You need to earn at least 80% on the quiz to successfully pass College 101.  If you score under 80%, please review the videos and retake the quiz.  Once you have scored 80% or higher on the quiz, please PRINT your email and turn it in to the Admissions Office on any of our five campuses.
