SUMMER 2015 Scholarship Deadline - March 31, 2015
The NCTC Foundation is offering a limited number of scholarships to students for the summer sessions! In order to be considered for these scholarships, students must create an account and complete the summer application.

FALL 2015 Scholarship Deadline - April 15, 2015
Complete one general application to be considered for the following scholarships:
Mary Josephine Cox Scholarship – Awarded based on special need, special competency, or scholarship, must have a 3.0 GPA, under 21 years old, and graduate of a Cooke County High School or parents must own property in Cooke County. Awards are $ 100.00 for Fall and Spring ONLY (no summer awards). If student maintains 3.0 GPA, award can continue for five semesters. Applications are located in the Financial Aid Office, the NCTC Foundation Office or apply using the appropriate link to the left.
NCTC Foundation Scholarships – NCTC has one application for general NCTC Foundation and departmental scholarships. Applications are available by using the link above, in the Financial Aid Department and in the NCTC Foundation Office. The Foundation office will try to match the student with a scholarship based on criteria set forth by the donor of each scholarship. Amounts of the scholarships vary from $500 to $2000 per academic year.
Friends of Agriculture – The scholarships will be offered for the academic year (Fall and Spring). Must be a full-time student with a majoring in Agriculture fields such as Agriculture, Equine, or Horticulture. In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students are required to take two agriculture classes. Preference will be given to Cooke, Montague, and Denton County Residents.
Faculty Congress & William Culp Scholarships:
Applications for the Faculty Congress and William Culp Scholarships are accepted once a year, with the deadline being April 15th. In addition to the application, students are required to submit their current transcript (high school students must be in the top 20% and college students must a a minimum 3.0 GPA to qualify). Also required are two letters of recommendation from NCTC faculty or administration. The Faculty Scholarship Committee will review the applications and offer scholarships for both the fall and spring semesters for full time students that are selected.
Dual Credit Scholarships:
Leo & Mabel Scott Dual Credit Scholarship is available to dual credit students residing in Cooke, Love and surrounding counties in Texas and Oklahoma with preference given to underprivileged students. Awards are not renewable; students must apply for scholarship each semester.
NCTC Foundation and Bertha Foundation have partnered to provide Graham District Dual Credit Scholarships to Graham ISD dual credit students attending NCTC. To be eligible, students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and exhibit a financial need. Awards are not renewable; students must apply for scholarship each semester.
Note: Students that qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch program at their high school will not qualify for a scholarship because NCTC offers a tuition waiver for those students. Please contact the NCTC Admissions Office for more information regarding this.
