Description
Advanced topics in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW). Includes welding in various positions.
32 lecture hours + 64 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Demonstrate proficiency in various welding positions; describe safety rules and equipment use; and describe the effects of welding parameters in GMAW; weld various joint designs and diagnose welding problems and perform visual inspection.
