INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Anatomy & Physiology.  Most of you that are taking this class are doing it because it is a requirement of your certification or degree.  Most of you are working towards a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Surgical Technologist, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic.  This course and all of the other courses that you are completing toward you career goal are all building blocks to the foundation of your career.  The stronger the foundations that you build towards your career the more likely you are to be successful.  With that being said, A&P is a very important building block to your knowledge foundation.  To be the most benefit to your patients you must understand how the body is made and how it functions.  This information can be beneficial to informing patients as well as treating them.  This course is not a difficult course.  Complete your presentation and reading assignments and study.
