Description

An overview of the aspects of natural gas and oil production including various aspects of hydrocarbon production, processing equipment, and gas compression/transportation systems.
32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.

At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Describe gas well and casing head testing and metering systems; calculate gas volumes; describe the basic principles of hydrocarbon production; and identify the basic components of field processing equipment
