Description
Skill development in the performance of blood collection and processing methods specific to blood banking. Instruction includes procedures to determine donor eligibility and phlebotomy specimen collection. Course instruction includes phlebotomy, specimen processing, waived complexity testing, quality control and laboratory orientation and regulation. Students must come in person to take an entrance assessment and turn in required documentation before registration.
