Description
Overview of mechanical principles used in automated manufacturing. Includes common measurement methods, engineering drawings, and mechanical methods used in automated manufacturing.
Upon course completion, students will be able to apply measurement techniques; interpret engineering drawings; identify mechanical systems and equipment; identify safety tools and maintenance issues; demonstrate material assembly; and describe operations and applications of pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
