Description
Concepts of geometry, probability, and statistics, as well as applications of the algebraic properties of real numbers to concepts of measurement with an emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. (NOTE: This course is for education/teaching majors only and is a required part of the approved field of study curriculum for EC-6 and EC-12 Special Education teacher certification.)
48 lecture hours.
Prerequisite: MATH1314 with a C or better, or ACT, SAT, or placement test score required by NCTC Math Department.
