Description

This course focuses on the secure design and operation of OT/ICS infrastructure, including network architecture, physical and environmental protections, monitoring and anomaly detection, device hardening, secure communications, and incident-response playbooks. Students apply industry best practices to design segmented architectures, plan secure remote access and monitoring strategies, and integrate OT environments into security operations and SIEM workflows. The course culminates with future-focused work on Industry 4.0, IIoT, and IT–OT convergence, enabling students to propose realistic, secure roadmaps for evolving industrial infrastructures.
