Welcome

My name is Bart Alvara and I will be the Professor for History 1301 500. I can be reached at the email bartalvara@nctc.edu and I usually respond within twenty-fours. My office hours are Tuesday from 1 to 2 pm, for those students who wish to see me in person.

About me: I am PhD student who moved to Texas five years ago studying Military and Diplomatic history. I received my BA in history from California State University (do not hold it against me that I came from California), my MA in the Humanities from Dominican University. I am in my third year at UNT. I look forward to helping you succeed this semester!
