Description
Study of the properties of air and results of cooling, heating, humidifying or dehumidifying; heat gain and heat loss calculations including equipment selection and balancing the air system.
Upon completion, students will be able to calculate heat loss and heat gain; size heating and cooling equipment to the structure; read and interpret detailed HVAC design plans; perform a load calculation using industry standards; and design a complete air distribution system including ventilatins requirements and indoor air quality.
