Of all the classes I teach, this ranks among my favorites! I am excited about people's renewed interest in growing their own food, not just to save money, but to benefit their health, to live "greener" lives, to be more active, and to explore new foods.

In this class, we will cover information through lectures, hands-on labs, internships and lots of fieldtrips. You will have the opportunity to grow food outside in a raised bed garden and greenhouse. We will explore not just vegetable crops; but herb, fruit and nut crops as well.

I know we will have a great semester together and look forward to getting to know each of you better!
