A study of the principles and elements of landscape design. Topics include client interview, site analysis, plan view, scale, plant selection, basic drawing and drafting skills, and plan preparation.
48 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Demonstrate procedures utilized in the development of a landscape plan; develop a landscape design; and perform a site analysis and incorporate the information into the final design.
