Emphasizes characters, environments, architecture, static objects, user interfaces, and storyboards for games. Emphasizes applying 2D design concepts. Utilizes BOARD GAME Design to teach mechanics of Game Design. Utilizes current Level UP! textbook by Scott Rogers. NOTE! This is a HYBRID class which means we only meet ONE time a month to play and RATE the Games we design independently. This course requires DISCIPLINE! Required first class meeting is face-to-face on January 17th from 10am until 2pm.
