Theory and practice of design. Projects in problem-solving, including press fit, bolted and welded joints, and transmission components.
32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Utilize the steps used in the design process, terminology, mechanical processes to produce drawings.
