Description
Production of detail and assembly drawings of machines, threads, gears, utilizing tolerances, limit dimensioning, and surface finishes.
32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Interpret terms used in tolerancing; identify dimensions of two mating parts; draw spur and/or bevel gears; draw details and assemblies; identify interference and clearance fits; identify types of threads forms; and interpret thread notes.
Prerequisite: DFTG1333.
