Electrical and electronic drawings stressing modern representation used for block diagrams, schematic diagrams, logic diagrams, wiring/assembly drawings, printed circuit board layouts, motor control diagrams, power distribution diagrams, and electrical one-line diagrams.
32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Layout components and symbols, both electronic and electrical; apply basic math and the theory of electricity; utilize component identification including schematics, block, wiring, and logic; and perform diagram construction and drafting.
