Description
Introduction to predictive analysis, including research methods and modeling; the basics of research design, operationalization and measurement, statistical analysis, and reporting. Topics may adapt to changes in industry practices.
Upon course completion, students will be able to: develop predictive model from a research question; identify data sources appropriate for research questions; test research questions using hypothesis testing; identify appropriate statistical test based on research question and selected data; calculate reliability; assess vailidity of models; and interpret results for reporting.
