Description
Principles of electricity including proper use of test equipment, A/C and D/C circuits, and component theory and operation.
32 lecture hours + 32 laboratory hours.
At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Identify basic principles of electricity (A/C and D/C), voltage, current, and circuitry; apply Ohm's law to electrical calculations; use test equipment to measure continuity, voltage, and current values; and use electrical safety practices.
