Basic principles of residential and commercial maintenance and repair. Emphasis on safety, materials, and tools.
Upon course completion, students will be able to: Identify and demonstrate use of measuring devices; explain safety procedures for building maintenance; identify and use hand and power tools; summarize building maintenance functions; and list materials used in building maintenance.
