Description

Characteristics and benefits of bank/financial products and services. Emphasis on the personal selling process and quality customer services. Application of personal selling, cross-selling, and related product benefits to individual customer needs.

Upon course completion, students will be able to: describe how personal selling is related to consumer services and distribution in the banking/financial industry; identify the basic qualities of a successful salesperson and the characteristics of bank credit and deposit products and services; and describe ways in which technology affects delivery of products and services.
