Late work policy:
To be fair to all students, I DO NOT accept late work except for documented illnesses. You have 7 days to complete assignments. Please take advantage of the time you have.
There is extra credit available – do not ask for additional. Your grade will be based on the graded elements listed above. There are no makeup assignments unless proof of illness is provided to the instructor in a timely manner. If you miss an assignment for a documented and approved medical reason or family emergency, you will be allowed 1 week to complete it.

COURSE POLICIES
Academic Integrity Policy:
Scholastic dishonesty shall include, but is not limited to cheating, plagiarism, academic falsification, intellectual property dishonesty, academic dishonesty facilitation and collusion. Faculty members may document and bring charges against a student who is engaged in or is suspected to be engaged in academic dishonesty. See Student Handbook, “Student Rights & Responsibilities: Student Conduct.” Consequences for academic dishonesty may include:
- The student will receive a failing grade of "O" on the assignment. If the assignment is within a group in which the lowest assignment is dropped, the assignment will not be able to count as a dropped score. It will count as part of the grade.
- A "Scholastic Dishonesty Report Form" will be submitted regarding the incident
- Student may be dropped from the course with a failing grade (letter grade of “F”) if there is a second infraction or the first infraction was deemed extremely serious.
Policy Regarding AI Tools:
To use AI tools effectively requires understanding and experience. For this reason, AI Tools (Chat GPT, Google Bard, Unity Muse, Visual Studio IntelliCode, ect) may not be used in this course without prior permission from the instructor. Uses of these tools without permission will be considered plagiarism.
Attendance Policy:
Regular and punctual attendance is expected of all students in all classes for which they have registered. All absences are considered to be unauthorized unless for a documented and approved illness or family emergency. If a student is absent more than 4 classes they will be dropped. Class attendance will be taken from Discussion Forum participation.
Withdrawal Policy:
A student may withdraw from a course on or after the official date of record. It is the student’s responsibility to initiate and complete a Withdrawal Request Form.
Last day to withdraw from the course with a “W” is November 4th, 2024
- Last Day to Drop with 100% Refund Aug 25th
- Last Day to Drop without a Grade Sep 10th
- Last day to drop with grade of a “W” Nov 4th
