If you are logged into MyNCTC through your OneLogin, you will now search for courses through the Student Registration portal located on the Student Services Tab!
If not logged in, you can still search for classes on the Find Courses tab using the guidelines below.
To help speed your search, select "Open" for Section Status. This option will only show courses that are still available to add to your course schedule. Sections that are Full can still be Waitlisted-just add the course to your calendar in the Student Registration portal and proceed with Registration Checkout.
Course Code or Title: It's best to enter the course code ONLY such as ENGL 1301 or MATH 1342 (make sure you put a space between the letters and the numbers).
Instructor: To find courses taught by a specific professor, begin typing their name in the field. Names will begin to appear for you to select.
Department: This corresponds to the field which the course is under, such as Math or Languages. But it’s best to leave this field blank.
Location: Just start typing the name of the NCTC campus or leave it blank to see classes taught at all NCTC locations as well as online classes.
- Online courses, including synchronous online classes which have specific days and times you meet for virtual lectures, will show "Gainesville Campus and Online Courses" as the campus.
- All courses that are taught on campus or as hybrid courses (meaning partially online and also with weekly face to face meetings) will be listed under the campus where the in-person meetings take place.
Meeting Type: How the course is taught which would be in-person, online, hybrid, or interactive TV.
Meets Selected Days: If you are only available to take courses particular days, you can limit your search to those specific days. However, please be sure to double check course details to verify the exact meetings dates.
