Description

Essential marketing functions in the movement of agricultural commodities and products from producer to consumer.
48 lecture hours.

At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Explain the essential marketing functions of buying, selling, transporting, storing, financing, standardizing, pricing, and risk bearing; apply economic principles to the marketing of agricultural products; identify alternatives in marketing of agricultural commodities/products; examine the structure of agricultural markets.
