Description
Skill development in inspecting, servicing, and maintaining aircraft fluid systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel. Application of concepts through detailed maintenance procedures. Fundamentals of safety procedures also addressed.
Upon successful completion, students will be able to: inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft fuel and management systems; inspect and repair fuel quantity-indicating systems; inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems; identify and select hydraulic fluids; and demonstrate safety procedures.
32 lecture hours + 64 laboratory hours
Prerequisite: Determined by US Aviation Academy.
