An academic plan maps out the courses you need to meet the requirements
for general education, your major and minor, certifications, and concentrations.
It guides you in choosing courses for each term. You can discuss the
plan with your advisor.
If you have an academic plan and your
school requires registration by plan, you can develop your schedule
using a calendar and work through registration issues during the process.
The Register by Plan
link opens the My Schedule
screen where you can find the courses that fit your academic plan,
and a calendar you can use to develop your schedule.
The View Courses
link opens the Course Search
screen where you can find out whether a course is full or who the
instructor is.
If you use Internet Explorer,
make sure Compatibility View is turned off. Steps
On
the Internet Explorer toolbar, click the Tools
drop-down list.
Select
Compatibility View
settings.
Clear
the Display intranet sites
in Compatibility View checkbox, and click Close.
If you don't have an academic plan or your school doesn't require
registration by plan, you can click the Add/Drop
Courses link to add, drop, and register for courses. It also
lets you get an advisor's approval.
The Course Search
link opens the Course Search
screen where you can search using a variety of filters. You can find
out whether a course is full or who the instructor is. If Add
boxes are available, you can select one or more of the boxes and then
click the Add Courses
button to attempt to register for the selected courses.
Courses that display in the Courses
Requiring Payment section require payment in full before the
registration is considered complete. Depending on your school's settings,
the course may automatically be dropped after a certain time period
if the course fees have not been paid.
