Student Learning Outcome

 

At the successful completion of this course the student will be able to:

 

Demonstrate the ability to identify techniques and literature of individual brass instruments.

 

Demonstrate proficiency in playing brass instruments.

 

Demonstrate proper breath control, tone production, interpretation, and general musicianship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

 

There will be 13 one-hour lessons, one noon recital performance, and one jury performance per semester. Attendance is required at all of these. You will be permitted ONE unexcused absence from your lesson with no penalty to your grade. Each additional absence will result in a grade of “0” for that lesson. If you need to reschedule a lesson, you must notify me via email 24 hours in advance or it will be counted as an unexcused absence.

 

 

Last day to Withdraw

Student Success Center
