Hi my name is Professor Brumfield. I obtained my General Studies bachelor's degree with a minor in Business & Sociology from Texas Woman's University, as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same school.

I've been in education for 13 years. I've been employed at Dallas College for 12 years as an adjunct business professor as well as an Instructional Coordinator for the School of Business, Hospitality, and Global Trade, Simulation Coordinator for the School of Nursing at El Centro, Northlake, and Mountain View College. I taught Dual Credit Courses and spent 1 yr. at Ptech high school as a CTE teacher.

I love education and I plan on retiring as an Educational Professor. I have 2 grown children, 3 grandchildren, a dog, a pet turtle, and 5 gold fishes.
 
 

Description

Introduction to the marketing mix functions and process. Includes identification of consumer and organizational needs and explanation of environmental issues.

48 lecture hours.

At the conclusion of the course a student will be able to: Identify the marketing mix components in relation to market segmentation; explain the environmental factors which influence consumer and organizational decision-making processes; and outline a marketing plan
