ATTENDANCE POLICY
Regular online attendance is expected of all students in all online classes for which they have registered. Students are responsible for reviewing all class discussions, announcements, emails and assignments and are expected to check communication (including discussion boards) at least three times per week, if not daily. Dropping a course is the student's responsibility, but you MAY be dropped for, not completing orientation or participation assignments, or not making significant progress for one work week or longer. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Weeks are considered to be Tuesday-Monday. All online assignments are due by 11:59pm on their scheduled due date. You are encouraged to create a schedule to work on assignments on a regular basis and you are also welcome to work ahead. Test dates shown are the dates the tests will be proctored to the class at NCTC-Corinth campus. No makeup exams will be administered but there is a testing window during which a test may be taken from with an alternate proctor. See the Tests document in the Resources Module in Canvas.

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
Participation: Consideration towards participation is awarded for the perceived effort students place in the course. Consideration is given for asking and answering questions on the Get Help Forum, participation on topic discussion boards and timely completion of assignments. Completion of homework practice, including scanned offline homework and MSL homework, is also a portion of the Participation grade.
Excel Projects: The Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program will be utilized for completion of three projects during the semester. Instructions for completing each project will be given in Canvas. See the Excel document in the Course Orientation module in Canvas for more information
Quizzes: Each week there will be an online quiz. You have three attempts and 1 hour 15 minutes for each online quiz attempt. If your quiz is interrupted/disconnected, you will need to begin again using another attempt. I will keep the highest score.
Exams: The exams will be given weeks 5, 9, and 13. These are paper and pencil, proctored exams. See the Tests Document in the Resources module in Canvas for more information.
