4 Exams + Final Exam

90%

We will have 4 exams during  the semester, and a comprehensive final exam.

Your exam average will be the average of the 4 highest of the 5 exams.

i.e. your lowest exam grade will be dropped – that exam can be the final exam, so essentially, the final exam is optional.

The 4 exam grades used to compute your exam average will all be weighted equally, and that average will constitute 90% of your grade.  The other 10% of your grade will be the average of the online homework assignments that you do in MyLabs.

The grading scale is as follows:

 A:  90-100       B: 80-89      C: 70-79      D: 60-69      F: 0-59

THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP EXAMS.

The grading policy may be amended during the semester at the instructor’s discretion.
