Welcome to INRW 1301!  I'm excited to welcome you to this co-requisite course and I can't wait to get started. Students enrolled in NCTC's co-requisite models have had great success in passing the 1301 Composition I course.  Their passing rates have been much higher than students who have enrolled without the co-requisite course. I know that together we can continue this success. 

Important information about this class:

• This course is paired with your English 1301 Composition I class, so we will have plenty of time to work on assignments from that course as well as for those assigned here.
• You should also be enrolled in my ENGL 1301  - COMPOSITION I section.
• We will focus on skills related to reading and writing at the college level that will be helpful not only for English courses but for academic writing in all your classes.
• We will also incorporate non-cognitive strategies and tools that are helpful at finding success at balancing school, work,  and life.
• We will be working together in collaborative teams whenever possible. This means that you will always have classmates to help you! Teamwork makes the dream work!
