Welcome to EDUC 1300 - Learning Frameworks.  I am your professor, Jenifer Lovejoy, and I look forward to spending the semester with you.  A few words for you to get to know me.  I graduated from University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology.  I then began my Master's of Science in Psychology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.  During that time I received my alternative teaching certification through Region 2 in Special Education.  I began teaching Resource English at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi.  After working in the school setting, I decided to change my major and received a Master's of Science in Counseling.  I was the district counselor for Louise ISD for 7 years and then I moved to Dallas.  I have lived in Dallas for three years now and I am the lead counselor at Lake Dallas High School.  I love working with students and educating them to the vast opportunities the future offers as well as the tools needed to be successful with those opportunities.
