The required textbook is Gardner's Art Through the Ages, A Global History, Vol. II, 15th ed.
by Fred Kleiner.
*A trip to one of the major D/FW art museums during the current semester is required.
As an alternative to the museum assignment, you may substitute a comparison paper from a
list of artworks in the textbook provided by your instructor.

Missed Exams and Assignments
There are no make ups for exams. One exam may be dropped for the optional cumulative end of semester exam. No make ups for weekly assignments or comparative paper assignment. Students are required to complete 3 exams, weekly online class presentation assignments, comparative artworks paper or the *physical museum visit and accompanying paper. Must visit the physical museum itself, not through the internet.
