Course Description:
In this class students will study the theory of operation for reciprocating aircraft engines.
Students disassemble, clean and reassemble an engine using manufacturers' approved and
acceptable data, and FAA regulations. They will discuss the function and operation of
reciprocating engine internal components.
Course prerequisites: NCTC designated, if required. US Aviation AFP 103
