Introduction to relational and non-relational database theory and the practical applications of contemporary databases. Topics may adapt to changes in industry practices.
Upon successful completion, students will be able to identify and differentiate the application of relational and non-relational databases; identify database terminology and concepts; plan, define, and design a database; design and generate tables, forms, and reports; and design and process queries.
